The teachers at NWO Montessori truly care about the students. They aren’t content with simply regurgitating coursework and letting the children find their way. They are attentive and experienced enough to know when students are struggling, and often why. Two of our children have attended NWO Montessori and there’s no question they are the better for it. Absolutely! The Montessori materials, individualised curriculum and one-on-one attention ensure that your child will be ready for any elementary school. Our children exceed state standards while maintaining their love of learning.
The Montessori approach is designed to address the needs of all children in the classroom. The class encompasses a 2-3 year time span, which allows younger students to learn from older children, and older children to benefit by acting as role models.
No, your child does not have to be potty-trained to attend NWO Montessori. We will work together with you and your child on potty-training as needed.
We welcome parents to become involved in the school! Parents volunteer with science projects, holiday parties, cultural events and one-on-one reading. Parents are an important part of our community.
